The University of Utah LeaderShape
Institute is comprised of about 60 students from the University
of Utah representing diverse ethnic, academic, professional,
and cultural backgrounds. Last year’s Institute had
representation from every academic college on campus, 41
different majors, and over 40 different student organizations
including ASUU, Lesbian and Gay Student Union, Bennion Center,
ROTC, A Cappella, Orientation, and the Cycling Team. The
Institute is open for any and all who are seeking to have
an impact on our campus or in the community.
Who attends?
- Those driven by the idea of
ethical leadership.
- Students on the brink of many leadership
experiences and those who touch the lives of others on
a daily basis.
- Students interested in facilitating
their personal growth and that of their organization.
- Diverse students from all over the
state, country and world.
- Those involved in the process of
small decision making.
- People intrigued by the idea of better
communication via inner reflection and growth.
- The academic student who wants to
know more about vision and the highly involved member
who wants to improve.
- Anybody in a team or group who holds
the idea of integrity dear and values others for who they
are.

of change and making a significant difference in their
organization, community or world.
